About Your Float
You need to arrive 10 minutes before your Float, so we can show you around. We supply towels, earplugs and toiletries for you.
You need to shower before and after your float and a small hand towel is provided inside the float-room for you to keep the salt out of your eyes.
Vaseline is provided to apply to any open cuts you might have to stop the stinging. There is a neck pillow to use while floating if you cannot relax your neck. This makes for comfortable floating without the need for earplugs. The earplugs provided are either wax mouldable or noise reducing foam plugs.
Once you are in the float-room the door can be locked from the inside and you are completely alone to enjoy your experience. If you do not hear the beeps to awaken, the filter on the float-room will come on and this will arouse you. If not we will gently knock on the door and make sure you are O.K. There is always friendly staff around to assist you at any time.
It usually takes two or three floats to become accustomed to relaxing so deeply.
You can float with the light on at all times, or you can leave the door open to help you relax. If you choose, you can have music on for the entire float.
The music starts and goes for approximately 15 minutes, then all is quiet until your float is over or you can have music on at all times.
You will hear a soft beeping to let you know that the float is over but you can leave the floatroom at any time.
Should you need to cancel your appointment, 24 hours notice is needed or a 10% cancellation fee will apply.
